  • 1 Tbsp sago
  • 5 Tbsp plain yoghurt
  • 500g Healtheries Simple Bread Mix
  • 1½ tsp active dry yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 Tbsp milk powder
  • 2 Tbsp whole linseeds
  • 1 Tbsp ground linseed
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ C potato flour
  • 13 C sunflower seeds
  • 13 C pumpkin seeds
  • 2¼ C cold water


  1. Soak sago in yoghurt for 4 hours or overnight.
  2. Mix together bread mix, yeast, sugar, milk powder, linseeds (ground & whole), salt and potato flour.
  3. Add pumpkin and sunflower seeds.
  4. Make a well in dry ingredients and add sago/yoghurt mixture.
  5. Add 113 cups of water, mix and add more until the mixture is slightly sticky.
  6. Transfer mixture to breadmaker, pressing it down to remove air.
  7. Bake on a 3 hour cycle (wholewheat rapid bake for panasonic, 2-2.5 hours for Breville)
