Ingredients

  • 400g beef mince
  • 1 Tbspn oil
  • GF bbq salt
  • pepper
  • ½ tsp thyme
  • 1 Tbspn GF flour (I used potato, but any will do)
  • 4 rashers bacon
  • 4 GF burger buns (I used 1 Bakeworks pullapart bread)
  • 1 tomato
  • 4 slices cheese
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 1 small tin sliced pineapple
  • GF garlic aioli

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.
  2. Place mince, oil and thyme in a bowl and season with BBQ salt and pepper.
  3. Sprinkle with flour and mix to combine. If it is too sticky, add more flour.
  4. Press meat mixture into 4 patties and place in a non-stick frypan.
  5. Place bacon in a second frypan.
  6. Bake pullapart bread in oven for 5min, while frying patties and bacon.
  7. Pull apart the bread, slice open and fill each bun with a patty, bacon, cheese, pineapple, tomato and lettuce.
  8. Spread a generous dollop of aioli under the lid of each bun and serve.

Makes 4 burgers
